The idea that letterforms are the building blocks of literacy, was an integral point of inspiration for the brand’s visual identity. A customized serif logotype works alongside a macro treatment of letterforms, giving complementary collateral an modern yet artistic take on literacy.
A Primary Palette with a Twist
Establishing a brand aesthetic that appealed to elementary students, teachers and donors was an important challenge to overcome in the discovery and brand development process. The contrast of primary colors and rich black tones, gives the an elementary inspired palette a contemporary twist.
The palette is complemented by stylized photography that showcases reading, art, and most importantly expressive portrait shots that put children at the forefront.
