Jayne M. Rose-Vallee is an award-winning author, creator, and visionary, passionate about bringing imaginative books to curious children and parents across the country.
Inspired by the concept of a “contemporary fairytale,” the brand is a visual representation of Jayne’s poetic writing style and whimsical stories.
A custom, script-inspired type treatment, paired with a modern sans-serif, works to bring a creative yet approachable feeling to Jayne’s logo. Hand-painted watercolor paintings compliment the logo’s illustrative style and book illustrations, creating a natural introduction to the brand color palette.
Inspired by the logo’s custom letterforms, unique crops and curved linework highlight the fun and imaginative nature of the Jayne M. Rose-Vallee brand. From tone-on-tone patterning, to creating fluid web transitions, the logo’s soft edges and squiggles act as a celebratory and inviting brand element.
