Founded on the belief that big problems require big solutions, The Gilbert Family Foundation’s mission is twofold: finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis and building opportunity in Detroit. GFF is in the business of making transformative investments focused on solving these complex problems through longterm, collaborative relationships with their partners.

Zoyes worked alongside GFF’s team to craft an evolved brand that reflects the highly personal and invested nature of the foundation. Once the brand was established, we designed and built a website that simplifies their mission and highlights their expansive body of work.

The Gilbert Family Foundation approached us in need of an expanded and more clearly defined brand that would tell a consistent visual story that could be trusted by medical researchers, GFF partners, and Detroiters alike.

Building on GFF’s existing logo and color palette, this brand evolution was designed to stay true to the authentic legacy of GFF while introducing fresh typography, photo and color direction, layout design, custom patterns and iconography. The result is a warm, approachable and trusted brand that tells the story of GFF’s impact.

Zoyes worked with the GFF team to reimagine a website that reflected the highly personal and invested nature of the foundation’s work. The redesigned GFF website aims to simplify an expansive body of partnerships and resources to garner trust among both Neurofibromatosis researchers and Detroiters. We combined compelling storytelling, GFF’s fresh new look and an intuitive interface for a seamless digital experience.
