As highly-strategic designers and builders, this Philadelphia-based architect tasked Zoyes with developing an authentic brand strategy that would elevate their look and reach a sophisticated, national audience.
At its core Formcraft is an integrated team of strategists, designers, and builders specialized in creating high impact office environments. The strategy for their brand highlighted the unified disciplines that make up their team and allows for their fully-integrated process.
The brand design aims to express Formcraft’s philosophy that design and construction should always inform one another. Angularity and notched elements present an elevated but also functional aesthetic that references the built structure in a bold way and puts form at the forefront.
The logo suite is a system of elements that present an impactful brand with a refined design sense, reflecting the firm's principles of being design-led, strategic, and resourceful. The wordmark is designed and presented in the style of a masthead lending an editorial look with modern typography and structured grids. Energetic accent colors are inspired by the Formcraft office space and the frequent color accents integrated into Formcraft's design.
Zoyes worked with the Formcraft team to streamline their website and refine messaging in a way that would clearly communicate their core expertise and differentiators. Navigation and messaging was greatly simplified to make the website more of a visual experience. Project photography is maximized throughout to allow viewers to appreciate the complexity, detail, and quality of Formcraft’s work.
